How To Sleep

Apparently my boys cannot go to sleep lately without some foreign object on their heads.  It's a strange phenomenon in our house that I wouldn't believe myself without documentation...  :)

The Graduate!

Michael graduated with his Juris Doctorate degree last Friday!!  It was a very fun-filled week of ceremonies and celebrations.  Thursday was commencement which is where the fuzzy photo of Michael comes from.  (It was hard to take in a dark Marriott Center sitting halfway up the stadium!)  Because he was receiving a doctorate degree he had the blue and white hood and got to sit on the floor during graduation.  Elder Bednar was the key speaker that afternoon and gave a great speech about learning to love learning.  Then on Friday it was the Law School Convocation at the Provo Tabernacle.  We had a lot of family there which was wonderful!  There Michael was hooded and received his diploma.  (Or at least the fake temporary one that they give out at graduation.)  The funniest part of the day was when Damien found the binoculars.  We were sitting on the back row and the graduates all walked by us on their was to be hooded and diploma...d.  Damien took his binoculars behind our row and would stare down each of the graduates as they walked by him!  It was hilarious.  (I know, I know - more fuzzy pictures.  What's a girl to do without a flash!?)  The rest of the weekend was filled with parties, BBQ's, and a huge Dr. Mario Tournament.  My brother Matt won the individual trophy while Matt and Michael won the team trophy.  (Don't tell Michael, but I let him win as a graduation present.  Shhhhh...)  It was a great week!
