So. Good.
It's a little wide for my blog, but still... I had to post it! I would recommend going to the You Tube page and watching all eight - definitely worth your time.

Going through old photos
I've had a little time this week to go through some of my old photos ("old" meaning from October 2008 to May 2009). I started out with over 1200 pictures and have whittled them down to just over 300 on my computer. I think my eyes may remain permanently crossed.

For you, however, I'll only post a few...

Genealogy = Fun ?
Just sick enough
It only takes one day. One day of me feeling a little too sick to do anything, but not too sick to just sleep all day. I'm just right. Just sick enough to finally take a minute and catch up on some posts I've been meaning to do for the last couple of months.

This is Michael's new nephew Joshua, David & Erin's little boy. We had a great time visiting with everyone, eating good food, and playing games together. The only downside was not having the boys there with us, but they would have thrown serious fits if we went all the way to California and didn't go to the beach. We absolutely did not have any time to fit the beach in and adding that to the fact that it was 24 hours of driving in 3 days we finally decided it would be better to leave them at home. Other than that it was a wonderful weekend with wonderful people.
First are the pictures from our very fun and very-much-too-short trip to Cali in March to see this guy receive his baby blessing from his father.

Johnny's Bike Ride
It only takes one day. One day to get sick of the training wheels and demand that they be removed. Then it takes two tries with Mom holding on. Then... it's all you, baby.

Wisdom Part 1
My Dad used to write down funny things that we said as kids, and I've decided to keep up that tradition with our own family. And what better place to record than in this blog where we can share it with all of you!!
So today, wisdom is brought to us by Damien...

Just for you Becca
This post is full of pictures from a trip up to the cabin earlier this month to take the boys sledding for the first time. Becca has been dying for me to post these, so ... here they are Bec!

He may not look it in this photo, but Damien loved sledding! His favorite part was when they turned backward!
Johnny loved it too, even when he got a face-full of snow! (It's all melted in this photo, but if you look close you can see all the water dripping off.)
Mom, however, took the prize for enjoying themselves the most. :) I've never heard her laugh so hard! Even when the ride was over she had a hard time trying to stop laughing so she could tell Dad how it was!

Wake Up Call
Last week Damien had a nightmare. A bad nightmare. He crawled into bed with me (which is normal) and then lay there, wide awake, for over an hour (which is very not normal). When I finally woke up enough to ask him what his dream was about I remember him saying something about a bad guy that got flushed down the toilet. I assumed that was a good thing, but Damien was still really freaked out so I sandwiched him between Michael and I and went back to sleep.
Around seven the next morning Johnny woke up and then came in to our room to wake Damien up so they could play together. Fine by me - I'll just sleep a little longer. I got about five minutes of additional sleep before it was my turn to be woken up by Johnny...
Mom! Damien's peeing outside!
What?
Damien is going potty outside on the rug!
The what?
The rug outside of our door!
After a frantic inspection of our "Welcome!" mat, and a short conversation with Damien, everything was lost into stifled giggles. I didn't want him to think that using our front mat as a toilet because you're afraid of the bad-guy that got flushed down the other toilet in your dream was an appropriate thing to do. But it was so freaking funny I couldn't keep myself from laughing!

I Blame...
I blame my computer. The iphoto program mostly. It's been on the fritz for a couple of months and I blame that for my lack of blogging. I also blame my busy schedule, piles of laundry, good books, and just about everything else for the delay in posts. (Everything, that is, except for myself. It couldn't possibly be my own fault!)
These are our Halloween costumes. Michael was Waldo and I was Wenda (from the Where's Waldo books) and the boys were both Kung Fu Masters. The boys practiced their "moves" quite a bit and became masters of the scary face as well as Kung Fu. Damien was also adept at stabbing things like the bushes and the grass.

So, to make up for lost time now that my computer is working again, I am going to try and catch up on the last couple of months of photos. Well, my favorites from the last couple of months. Here goes...
This is my pumpkin from Halloween last year. It merits a spot because I think it turned out pretty awesome. :)

Christmas was a lot of fun - the boys really got into the whole Santa thing this year. Johnny asked Santa for a Darth Vader outfit (which he got, of course) and has worn it just about every other day since. It's February now and he still isn't tired of it.
I got this picture of Damien in January. He had fallen asleep like this one night and I had to take a photo. Surprisingly, the flash from the camera didn't wake him up.
These last few are of Grandma and Grandpa's house this last week. I love the one of Daria, except she was walking as I took it and is partially out of the shot. And to round it all off we have a picture of the classic Grandpa/Grandsons wrestling match - one of my favorite things to watch! :)
