Good vs Evil

For Halloween this year Damien wanted to be Batman and Johnny wanted to be Darth Vader.  Both characters usually have face masks, which wouldn't work for school, so we had to get a little creative.  Damien's costume was easier to adjust and didn't take too much effort.  Johnny's on the other hand.... how do you do Darth Vader without that iconic headpiece?

You do the death scene.

We came up with a neckpiece and did his makeup like the scene where Luke takes his father's mask off as he lays dying.  And it turned out pretty awesome.

Kristie

Kristie... is all things  vibrant and authentic and intellectual.  She has an incredible eye for style and color that radiates through her home, wardrobe, cooking and personality.  She feels deeply and crinkles her nose when she really gets laughing.  She is conservatively adventuresome and always trustworthy.  She is incredibly thoughtful and generous, living her life in a way that makes you wish you were just like her.


I'm lucky enough to be able to call her friend.

Julie

Julie... is all things wonderful and creative and homemade.  She has talents as a mother and a crafter that I can only sigh at.  She is genuine and so so kind and makes you feel like life is beauty and beauty is life.  She is two parts Audrey Hepburn and one part Will Ferrell, and somehow manages to blend goofiness and grace.  She is comfortable and real, and is so easy to be around.
